My grandmother was a strong and smart woman! She has taught me a lot! I'm so proud that she was my grandmother! I'm so lucky I got to have her for so long! Not a day goes by that she isn't on my mind!! I'm truly saddened by her loss and can't wait to hear her sweet voice again!

Dear Toro Family, I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Toro was my sixth grade teacher and one of my favorites. I credit her with helping me find my love for history and getting me on the right path. I am so sorry I did not stay in touch with her. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful lady with us!

Mobley will truly be missed. In 1981 she welcomed me into the family as her daughter in law. After the birth of her granddaughter Rebeca, I recall her comments of pride and joy. She was a strong and wise individual. Those of us that embraced her knowledge, we learned a great deal. I for one will always be thankful to have known her and thank her for being such a wonderful Grandmother to Rebeca & a wonderful Great Grandmother to my grandchildren, Tony & Aubrey. I pray for God's comfort for my former husband, our daughter, and our grandchildren during this difficult and sad time. God Bless & Keep you! With warm regards,

Mrs. Toro was such a sweet person. I sold her firewood and would go by and bring her some wood in so she would not have to carry it herself. She enjoyed sitting in front of an open fire. I also would carry her some of my fresh chickens eggs which she thank me for and tried to pay me but i refused to except. My wife met her once as she and my wifes mother worked together at savannah country day. Her and i would always sit and chat about the weather or just life itself. I will miss her kind ways. She was a true southern lady. My thoughts and prayers are for the family as i know she will be missed by them. God rest your soul.
